My chiropractic care is focused on restoring and maintaining your body's natural alignment and function. Through adjustments and other therapies, I can help you alleviate pain and improve your overall health and wellness. I do check and treat arms, hands, legs, and feet as well as the neck and back. I am a dedicated and caring chiropractor who practices diversified chiropractic. I believe in a holistic approach, integrating various techniques to create personalized treatment plans for every patient. Diversified chiropractors use a wide variety of techniques to treat patients instead of focusing on just one technique. Being a diversified chiropractor allows me to develop a treatment plan that will address each patient's specific needs. Exercise, stretching, nutrition, and sleeping habits are all important to look at when evaluating health, and are often a part of my treatment plans.
I will help you learn about chiropractic, your health, and things you can do to improve and maintain your health. On the first visit, I do a complete history and exam in order to find the proper diagnosis. Treatment usually includes a chiropractic adjustment. These adjustments are gentle and non-invasive. There are, however, adjustment techniques that are even more gentle and can be used for infants, pregnant women, and osteoporotic patients. Treatment may also include modalities such as: heat, ice, interferential muscle stimulation, biphasic muscle stimulation, microcurrent, high volt muscle stimulation, Russian muscle stimulation, soft tissue massage, Gua Sha (similar to Graston Technique), friction massage, acupressure, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, PI stretching, RI stretching, generally I may stretch people's muscles out for them, myofascial release, lymph drainage, trigger point therapy (TPT), mobilization, neuromusculoskeletal (NMS) re-education, active and passive release, strength guidance, stretching guidance, aerobic exercise guidance, nutritional guidance, and weight loss guidance. Some of the styles of adjusting I may do include manual adjusting, drop adjusting, adjusting with a "clicker", and gentle molding.
